Has it really been over a week since I've posted? Our crazy summer has definitely begun! I spent last week helping to cook for over 300 students who were staying at our church as part of the World Changers mission project. It was fun but so busy!
I wanted to post a quick DIY that we made a couple of months ago at our MOPS meeting. My friend, Ashley, and I were in charge of planning the crafts for each meeting and this was definitely one of the most popular...and the cheapest! We made each necklace for a little under $0.60 a piece!
The tutorial we used to explain the bird's nest necklaces can be found here: http://www.sarahortega.com/2011/05/diy-bird-nest-necklace.html.
All of our supplies came from Michael's (be sure to use your coupons!) except for the chains, which we ordered from this Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/listing/99718610/quantity-12-shiny-silver-plated-petite.
These necklaces would make great, inexpensive Christmas presents...since Christmas is less than 6 months away! :)
