As a mom of a preschooler, a daily shower is something that becomes more of a luxury than part of our every day routine. Does the same thing happen in your home? Showers are definitely considered a luxury, especially now that we’re expecting another sweet baby, I so look forward to my showers and enjoy them. Luckily I have a little boy that’s content to play on his own while I get a few minutes to myself! I know I need to enjoy that as much as possible before we add a newborn to the mix in November!

I have loved and used Dove products for a long time, but hadn’t tried this particular body wash yet…so I was excited to try this new Dove® VisibleCare™ Softening Crème Body Wash when BlogHer contacted me and immediately jumped on the opportunity to review it!

According to the website, it is “designed to soften skin and dry spots”, which is crucial for my sometimes over-dry skin. The bottle even says that you’ll see visibly more beautiful skin in just one week! I have been using Dove® VisibleCare™ Softening Crème Body Wash for a few weeks and absolutely love it.

When I was pregnant with my son several years ago, I suffered from very dry, itchy skin especially on the ever-growing baby belly!  I have made sure to pay a little extra attention to this baby belly of mine and have been very pleasantly surprised.  No dry, itchy skin yet!  I am definitely going to keep this up and see if the Dove® VisibleCare™ Softening Crème Body Wash can prevent that from happening!

The Dove® VisibleCare™ Softening Crème Body Wash is very thick, almost like a lotion, and has a beautiful fragrance. The website describes the fragrance as “a white floral gourmand fragrance that includes an elegant combination of magnolia and pink jasmine.” It’s a very light fragrance that’s not overly strong or too floral…a problem that I often have with other body washes.
