It's been a while since I've posted my weekly "link love" post, but I'm officially starting the posts up again!

Here's a collection of links that I've found around the web (and Pinterest!) this week...

DIY Confetti Party Backdrop via A Bubbly Life

Think of all of the cute color combinations you could use with this?!

DIY Chalk Paint Recipe via I Heart Naptime

I DIYed my own chalk paint using baking soda but will definitely be trying this recipe!  Now to find a piece of furniture (or two) to paint.

Vintage Numbered Crates via Lolly Jane

I am thinking these would look adorable on the shelves of the built-ins in our family room!

Master Bedroom {Before & After} via Dixie Delight

I love this bright and airy master bedroom makeover!

Happy Saturday!  Here are some of my favorite pins from my Christmas pin board...

A tutorial from the fabulous Nester showing how to make the "branches" with white leaves...genius!

I love these log tea light pillars...click the pin for a tutorial!  I'm going to be trudging through the woods soon for my own logs!

This arrangement is beautiful - this pin includes a "tutorial" for drying your own orange slices!

How awesome is this whimsical mantel?!   I love everything about it...the barn door, the letters, the star, the felted wool ball garland...darling!

I hope you're taking some time to slow down and really enjoy this Christmas season!

We are enjoying the beautiful fall weather around here...and I'm in full nesting mode, trying to get ready for this baby's arrival in about 6 weeks!  Here are a few of my favorite "pins" from this week:

I love the simple arrangement of this chalkboard, vase of leaves, and owl from 320 Sycamore!

This Door Spice Rack from the girls at Shanty 2 Chic is going on my "projects" list!  I love that it utilizes previously unused space and looks cute, too!

Amy at The Idea Room shares an adorable idea for personalizing hand soap/hand sanitizer for the holidays!  What a great gift idea for your kiddos teacher or neighbors!

I haven't made these Caramel Apple Cinna-minis yet, but they are on the list!  We love cinnamon rolls in this house, so the addition of apples would make them delicious!

Do you have any favorite pins from this week?  Have a fabulous fall weekend!

I completely missed Saturday again! We've had a wonderful weekend of COLD fall weather, which has made me crave all things FALL!

Here are some of my favorite "pins" from this week:

How cute is this Halloween Ribbon Wreath from Landee See, Landee Do? You could easily change up the ribbon colors and patterns to make it work for any season, holiday, or even a birthday!

The ladies over at Shanty 2 Chic have done it again! This fall table centerpiece would be adorable on a table, piano, or mantel, and can be made with simple supplies (that you probably have in your garage!).

I love any combination of cinnamon and apples, so these Fresh Apple Cinnamon by King Arthur Flour scones are right up my alley!

I have made LOTS of Pioneer Woman recipes and have yet to be disappointed by one of them...so I'm sure these Moist Pumpkin Spice Muffins with Cream Cheese frosting are sure to be delicious!

My friend Erin, over at Worthy of the Prize, is hosting a Hope for the Home series every Monday. I posted about pumpkins galore this past Monday...including a great pumpkin bread recipe and a sweet pumpkin parable that you can read to your kiddos.

Have a wonderful week!

Is it really the last day of September?  I can hardly believe how fast the month has gone...and it shows no signs of slowing down!  We got back late last night from our vacation and I realized that I hadn't posted a "link love" post...so here is yesterday's post, just a little late.  Happy Sunday!

I love the look of these Oreo pops! They are super simple (and cheap!) to make. Wouldn't they be cute with Halloween-themed sprinkles?

How adorable are these hand- and foot-print turkeys?  We will see if we have 1 or 2 little turkeys to use for this year. :)

I'm always up for a great knock-off! This burlap message board is fabulous!

You got a sneak peek at the dresser that's going in the nursery at our house a few weeks ago. Laurel commented on that post to tell me about this awesome furniture re-do that she had accomplished. You won't believe the "before" of this dresser!

Happy pinning this week!

Happy Sunday!  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend so far.  We are in Virginia on vacation this week (that's why I'm a day late posting) and we are loving the fall weather!  Here are a few links from around the blogs this week...

If you find a window like this laying along the road by your house, pick it up! The chalkboard that KariAnne made with an old window is FABULOUS!

I am thinking that this Southern Praline Pecan sauce would make a fabulous neighbor gift for the holidays!

Have you been eyeing those wooden monograms like I have?? Diane shares a way to make your own out of foam board from the Dollar Store!

Converting our mantel to fall is on my "to do" list when we get back from vacation. I am totally inspired by this Collected Fall Mantel over at My Blessed Life!

It is another "fallish" morning here in the Midwest, but a little on the rainy side. There's something about rainy, fall weather that makes me want to drink coffee and bake. Anyone else feel the same way?

Here's a collection of links that I've found around the web (and Pinterest!) this week...

How cute are these mini apple pies from the NY Melrose Family?

Here's an easy (and cute!) way to add some fall decor to your home by Simply Klassic Home.

Do you love these wooden monograms as much as I do? Check out this great tutorial for making your own at home by Shanty Insanity.

Holly Mathis has outdone herself with these kitchen updates. Nothing over the top or super expensive, but a perfect family kitchen.  I'm also on the lookout for one of those baskets to corral my crock of utensils, olive oil, salt shaker, and pepper mill.  Isn't that a fantastic idea??

What is your favorite "pin" from this week?

It is a perfect "fallish" morning here in the Midwest...I have a cup of coffee, my mulled cider candle burning, and a quiet house!  We have a great day planned with a high temperature of 76.  I can't wait!

Here's a collection of links that I've found around the web (and Pinterest!) this week...

I love this oak leaf garland made out of book pages by Pretty Handy Girl! I'm trying to figure out how to re-work it for my brick mantel.

Another great knock off...a Pottery Barn look-alike mirror for $10 at Dollar Store Crafts!

Cute twine-wrapped pumpkins for fall by Jennifer Rizzo...a great way to cover up those "funkins" that have seen better days.

I wish I had a bathroom in our house that was big enough to fit a dresser-turned-vanity. This one by Traci at Beneath my Heart is AMAZING and I LOVE the hardware on that dresser!

Have you found any wonderful blog posts or pins this week?  Do share!

Happy September!!! Welcome to "link love" on Saturday! Here's a collection of links that I've found around the web (and Pinterest!)
this week...

Have you seen this adorable re-fashion by Vanessa of this and that blog?  She took a v-neck t-shirt (from Wal-mart!!!) and added a cute little pocket to it. :)

Do you have a bed without a head board? Try something like Crystal (from Little Bit Funky) did with this cute hand-painted headboard made out of wood scraps!

I have lots of bow-making in my future with this sweet baby girl on the way and LOVE this quick and easy tutorial for making "the perfect bow" from 36th Avenue.

Check out these awesome "pillow wraps" that Julie at Less-Than-Perfect Life of Bliss made!  I love a good ticking stripe and think that the wrap could be changed out for seasons, holidays, etc.  So cute!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Wait until you see how Beth from Home Stories from A to Z transformed this fantastic dresser!

We all love a good PBK Knock off! I'm trying to figure out which "words" to use on pillows like this for my little guy's room.

Have you been eyeing all of the barn doors on Pinterest?  Me too!  This is a FANTASTIC (and cheap!!) way to recreate that look for less than $40!

I love these personalized jute bags...Laura from Top This Top That adding a little something extra to bags she bought at Hobby Lobby!  Love it!

Hope you're having a fabulous weekend so far!

Welcome to "link love" on Saturday! Here's a collection of links that I've found around the web (and Pinterest!) this week...

I never thought I'd be making sweet, flowery headbands (I thought I'd have all boys!) but I'm so looking forward to seeing more of these in our future.

Hop over to Shanty2Chic and learn how to make these awesome stenciled photo frames for $5 each.

We all know that monograms are all of the rage...here's a free printable that you can customize with any monogram (with lots of colors to choose from!). I think that this would be a sweet new baby gift or wedding shower gift!

Do you have a box of preschool art like I do? This mom is a genius! She scanned each piece of art and created a beautiful photo book out of it. I'm thinking this will be my fall project, using last year's preschool art. They'd make great grandparent gifts, too!

It's a beautiful day here in the Midwest...hope you're getting some of the same weather! I'll be spending some of my day spray painting. :)

There have been some great furniture re-dos and furniture plans popping up all over the blogs this week!  Here are some of my faves...

Have you seen this burlap chair makeover by Traci over at Beneath my Heart?  Love it!

I have lost my big sewing area (in favor for a corner of the playroom - I'll show pics later!), but definitely pinned this for the future.  This awesome desk is built out of stock cabinets, plywood, and laminate flooring!

The girls over at Shanty2Chic built these super-functional and adorable rolling storage cubes to use as seats for the play table below...

Hop over to Shanty2Chic to get the plans for this play table and storage cubes!  What a great playing/crafting/project space for up to 8 kiddos!

Have you seen any great furniture re-dos this week?  I am still in the middle of one of my own!  In fact, the weather is perfect outside for spray painting again today!

After a few months, I thought it was time to bring back the “link love” posts on Saturdays!  Today’s link love features nurseries/kid’s rooms that I love!  Click on the picture to be taken to my pin and then to the original source.

I love this dresser makeover by Dear Emmeline!  She took an antique dresser that was in poor shape and turned it into this beautiful dresser for her daughter.

This sweet little vignette is something I’d definitely like to recreate in our little one’s room!

The soft colors and painted dresser in this nursery won me over!

LOVE this sweet, bright turquoise nursery with its pops of red!

Do you have any favorite kid’s rooms or nurseries that I must see? Happy Saturday!
